Our Other Ministries

At Gracie's Kitchen, we believe in serving our community with love, compassion, and practical support that extends far beyond a warm meal. Our mission has expanded to encompass a diverse range of ministries, designed to meet people where they are and address the varied needs of our neighbors.

From caring for beloved pets to providing essential medical services, from offering spiritual nourishment to ensuring families have furniture for their homes, each of our ministries reflects our commitment to being the hands and feet of Christ in Nassau County. We recognize that true community support means addressing both immediate needs and long-term stability.

Whether you're looking for resources, wanting to volunteer, or hoping to partner with us in serving others, these ministries represent our dedication to building a stronger, more connected community where everyone has access to dignity, hope, and practical support.

Our Ministry Programs

Here you'll find details about each of our specialized programs, including schedules, locations, and how you can get involved or access services.

Pet Corner:

Gracie’s Kitchen also serves the furry family members of those in need. We collect donations, organize pet food drives, purchase supplies, manage inventory, repackage food, distribute pet food and canvass Nassau County in search of other pet-friendly supporters.

First Sunday:

On the first Sunday of each month Gracie’s Kitchen hosts a service and Bible study at 11am followed by lunch.

Gracie's Community Pantry:

On the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 9 to 11 am Gracie’s Kitchen and Community Baptist Church cohost a food pantry. This event is held at Community Baptist Church at 85326 Winona Bayview Road, Yulee, FL 32097.

Heart to Home:

This ministry has many facets, one of which is our Blessing Box. The Blessing box is located right outside our kitchen door so those in need of a simple meal can help themselves to our pantry box on weekends and times when we are not serving a hot meal. We also deliver family food baskets to families who cannot make it to our dinner services.

Angels Unaware:

"Be mindful to entertain strangers for in doing so many have entertained angels unaware." Hebrews 13:2
This broad based ministry helps Gracie’s Kitchen offer a “hand up” to those starting out or starting over. We collect gently used furniture and appliances and give them a second life while providing someone in need the opportunity to set up a comfortable living space.

Mobile Medical Bus:

On the first Wednesday of each month the Ascension St Vincent's Mobile Health Unit Bus arrives at 9 am to provide medical help and services to those without access and/or insurance.

Chandler's Closet:

Chandler’s Closet mobile clothes closet visits Gracie’s Kitchen on the 2nd Tuesday of each month to provide a wide variety of clothes and shoes to those in need.  https://www.chandlershopeclothescloset.com/

Free Little Library:

Take a book or leave a book! The Free Little Library is simple. It’s a library box filled with the latest adult and children’s books. Free books are available to anyone who would like to come take one. This initiative helps to promote reading and expand access to reading materials throughout the community.
