@Front Porch Beads is a group of volunteers who design and sell hand-crafted jewelry and then donate the proceeds from the jewelry sales to local charities. They live on (or around) Amelia Island, and they choose local nonprofit organizations to receive their donations.
Over the last few years, they have made donations to many charities in the area, including Micah’s Place, Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels, and Coalition for the Homeless. They have also been generous supporters of Gracie’s Kitchen, donating to Gracie’s in June 2020, January 2021, and December 2021.
This October, the “Front Porch Beaders” chose Gracie’s Kitchen for their donation – last Thursday, they stopped by and dropped off a check for $2,500! Wow!
This donation and their generosity go a long way toward helping those in need.
